The Northeastern Ohio Camera Club Council, (est. 1961), was an organization of photography clubs located in an eight county area. The council coordinated workshops, field trips, and local competitions for both amateur and professional photographers.
The Northeastern Ohio Camera Club Council Records, 1959-1977 and undated, consist of incorporation papers, constitutions, minutes, lists, announcements, programs, the council newsletter, and correspondence.
This collection will be useful to researchers studying the history and development of photography in Cleveland and northeast Ohio in the 1960s and 1970s.
