Finding aid for the Western Reserve Printed Ephemera Collection

Scope and Content

The Western Reserve Printed Ephemera Collection, 1834-1995 and undated, consists of brochures, newsletters, pamphlets, and programs related to businesses, groups, governments, and organizations in the Western Reserve area, covering an extremely broad base of topics. Of particular note are the city and county government publications.

This collection is of value to researchers studying most aspects of local history in northeast Ohio, the Western Reserve, and Cleveland. Subjects include, but are not limited to, arts and culture, churches and synagogues, civic organizations, clubs, colleges and universities, education, fraternal organizations, government, industry, labor, media, philanthropic associations, and political organizations.
