This is an artificial collection, put together based on the similar content and focus of the materials. The provenance and creator(s) for the individual scrapbooks are unknown, but they may have been donated with the Ward Marsh theater collection. These scrapbooks contain article clippings, concert and theater programs, images of actors, and other ephemera pertaining to musical performance, theater, and live entertainment activities. A majority of the productions (and subsequent newspaper reviews) occurred in the Cleveland area, as well as production from Boston, New York City, and other locations.

Also contains an advertisement for the Theremin. Concerts were performed in Cleveland, New York State, and Boston. Featured journalists: James H. Rogers and Arthur Shepherd. Featured concert halls: (Cle) Masonic Hall, Severance Hall, New Music Hall-Public Auditorium, (NY) Vassar College, and Metropolitan Opera House. Featured performers: Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Philharmonic Concert Company, Grand Opera, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Dutchess County Musical Association.

Featured journalist: William F. McDermott. Featured playhouses: (Cle) Hanna Theatre, Ohio Theatre, Cleveland Play House, (Bos) Colonial Theatre, (NY) Vassar College.

Scrapbook #3: 1932-1939. Contains primarily music concert programs with accompanying periodical clippings, images of performers, and some ticket stubs. The performances were held in Cleveland, New York State, Connecticut, New Jersey and West Virginia. In July 1934, the compiler went to Germany and attended musical performances in Munich and Salzburg. Featured journalists: Herbert Elwell, Elizabeth Bishop, and Lawrence Gilman. Featured concert halls: (Cle) Severance Hall, Masonic Hall, Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, (NY) Vassar College, Carnegie Hall, (WV) Charleston High School Auditorium, Shrine Mosque, West Virginia State College, (NJ) and Princeton University. Featured performers: Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Institute of Music, Litchfield County Choral Union (CT), and Community Music Association (WV).

Missing years 1925 and 1927. The scrapbook contains primarily music concert programs with accompanying periodical reviews and images of performers. It also contains an advertisement for the Theremin. In the middle of the scrapbook, the program dates start over again at 1926. Concerts were performed in Cleveland, New York State, and Boston. Featured journalists: James H. Rogers and Arthur Shepherd. Featured concert halls: (Cle) Masonic Hall, Severance Hall, New Music Hall-Public Auditorium, (NY) Vassar College, and Metropolitan Opera House. Featured performers: Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Philharmonic Concert Company, Grand Opera, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Dutchess County Musical Association.
