The collection of NASA consists of press releases, NASA reports, conference proceedings, indexes, committee and subcommittee reports, flight charts, and photographs. The collection dates are 1953-1969. The bulk of the collection was donated by Professor Melvin Kranzberg in 1969. Kranzberg was a former Professor at Case Institute of Technology and cofounder of the Society for the History of Technology.

The NASA Collection is divided into 5 record series

Series 1: Press Releases. September 1963-March 1967 with the bulk of the collection between July 1965-July 1966. The series has numerous references to Case Institute of Technology and grants they received from NASA for various experiments during this time. There are also press kits for various missions such as Mariner IV, OGO-C, Gemini 6, and Lunar Orbiter II. Series 2: NASA Publications. 1960-1969 primarily public information documents published by NASA, including reports or proceedings of conferences that NASA conducted or participated in. Series 3: Congressional Reports 1953-1965. In 3 sub-series: Congress, Senate, Presidential Messages which consist of reports of government committees and subcommittees regarding the development of NASA programs and projects and the agency as a whole. Sub-series 1: Congress (1958-1965) Sub-series 2: Senate (1953-1963) Sub-series 3: Presidential Messages (1959-1960) Series 4: Flight Charts.July, 1969 for the Apollo 11 Mission, which primary objective was to perform a manned lunar landing and return safely to Earch. Series 5: Photographs. Primarily NASA public relations photographs of the Moon taken by Lunar Orbiter III in April, 1967. Also a copy of the pamphlet: NASA Photography from Five Years in Space. 1964
