History of Miami University Softball Materials

Miami's first intercollegiate women's softball team was formed in 1955. In 1974 softball was one of nine women's sports integrated into Miami's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Miami's 1981 team won the Ohio Association for Intercollegiate Sports for Women (OAISW) state championship. Since joining the Mid-American Conference in 1982, Miami's softball team has captured MAC tournament championships in 2005 and 2009.

Scope and Content

Includes CD's of photos and mugshots. Media guides include player biographies and photos, schedules, rosters, player and team records, and season statistical summaries.
