Doris F. Donelon graduated from Ohio University in 1952 with an AB degree from the College of Arts and Sciences. At the university, Donelon was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and a member of the Dolphin Club which was the campus' ladies swim team. As of 2002, Donelon was living in Cleveland.
The Doris F. Donelon collection spans from 1941 to 1960 and contains ephemeral items collected by Donelon. The collection includes dance cards, football schedules, programs from plays, sing-a-long sheets, tickets from games, an Ohioan magazine, football program and the program from Donelon's 1952 graduation ceremony. The collection is divided up into seventeen folders and it is housed in one letter-sized Hollinger box. The items are in good condition however care should be taken in handling the programs as the paper has grown fragile over time.
