Biography of Harriet Sandmeier

Harriet Sandmeier Heist attended classes at Ohio University from 1955 to 1958. She graduated with a degree in psychology. She received several scholarships and lived in Lindley, Scott, and Bryan Halls.

Scope and Content

Harriet Heist Sandmeier (HHS) papers date from 1955 to the 1970s and contains items collected by HHS during her time at Ohio University (OU) and items about OU collected later. The collection includes photographs of HHS and her classmates in Lindley, Scott, and Bryan Halls, illustrated colored football game programs, a poster advertising the President's Ball of 1956, graduation instructions and invitations, her graduation tassel, guidelines for ladies living in Bryan Hall, a card certifying that she'd received her Tetanus shots in 1955, and a Golls print of OU.
