Scrapbook created by Stephen Venner about the careers of related actresses Kate Josephine Bateman, Sidney Crowe (married name Skardon), Valerie Skardon and other related actresses. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, autographed photographs and handwritten notes to Venner, broadsheet announcements of plays, a letter to Bateman from Skardon and a letter to Crowe from Henry James. Also included is a copy of the play "Leah" purportedly handwritten by Bateman. Unknown when Venner created the scrapbook, but items range from James' letter (before 1916) to a newspaper clipping from 1961. Received later by the archives is a letter from Gayle Harris, 1995, and a photograph of Skardon with her two daughters.
