Biography of H. G. Wells

H. G. Wells was an English author best known for his works in the science fiction genre. He also wrote about lower middle class life and women's suffrage.

Scope and Content

Holograph letter from H. G. Wells to Mr. Pharall Smith, and draft review by Wells of "The great society" by Graham Wallas. The letter discusses a meeting Wells is considering as a speaking engagement. The review is in holograph, with corrections. Included also is a photocopy of the review as it appeared in "The Nation" on July 4, 1914.
