Biography of Edith D. Neimark
Edith Neimark, born in 1928, received both a Bachelors degree in 1948 and a Masters degree in Psychology in 1952 from Skidmore
College. In 1952, she received a PhD in psychology from Indiana University, and went on to teach child psychology from 1964
to 1970. Neimark served as Chair of the psychology department at Douglass College from 1966 to 1971, retiring in 1991.

The Edith D. Neimark papers include predominantly reviews of child development manuscripts. Also present in this collection
is a small amount of professional correspondence, as well as information regarding Neimark's attempts at founding "The Formal
Operator" newsletter.
