Helen Wolf (later, Helen Schlagel) was a psychologist within the New York City School system from 1942 to approximately 1976, and a practicing psychologist in the state of New York from 1957 to approximately 1997.
Wolf Schlagel graduated with a B.A. degree in 1937 from Brooklyn College, continuing her education as a graduate student in psychology at the College of the City of New York from 1937 to 1940; she was editor of the Graduate Psychology Club Journal at the school. She received a Master of Science in Education from CCNY in June 1940. After graduation from CCNY, Wolf Schlagel completed coursework in child welfare and human behavior at the New York School of Social Work in 1941, and studied the Rorschach Method at New York University from 1949-1950.
