This series consists of analog certificates, correspondence, deeds, leases, ledgers, receipts, wills; concerning Case School of Applied Science (re-named Case Institute of Technology in 1947) property, audits, accounts, expenses, faculty salary, fundraising, legal matters, building and construction, worker's compensation, Kirtland Society of Natural Science, and Case family land holdings.

Materials do not circulate. Materials are available by appointment only. Appointments must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Folders containing non-directory personally identifiable information about students, employee evaluations, grievance/disciplinary proceedings, salary/income/financial status, mental/physical health, allegations of misconduct that are unresolved or to which the accused has not responded, or anonymous donors, are restricted.
