Cankarjev Glasnik was a national Slovenian literary monthly gazette published in Cleveland, Ohio, by the Cankarjev Ustanove (Cankar Foundation). In August 1937, Cankarjev Ustinove was formed to erect a memorial to Ivan Cankar, a Slovenian author, in the Yugoslav Cultural Garden in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The supporters of this venture decided to start a monthly literary named in Cankar's honor. It featured fiction, plays and reviews, and counted Louis Adamic, Ivan Zorman, Anna Krasna, and Katka Zupancic among its regular contributors. At its height, circulation peaked at 1,100 but the magazine was never financially stable. Its last issue was published in February 1943.
