Abstract:
William Bainbridge Castle (1814-1872) was the Mayor of Ohio City, Ohio (1853-1854), which was annexed to Cleveland in 1854. He then became Mayor of Cleveland. The collection consists of financial accounts of Castle during the time he served as mayor of Ohio City. Also included are some entries regarding appointments in the police department.
