Abstract: |
The Home Gardening Association was an outgrowth of the Goodrich House Social Settlement and was active in Cleveland, Ohio,
from 1900-1910. The Association encouraged students to plant vegetable and flower gardens by providing seeds at nominal cost.
The collection consists of mounted views of gardening activities in various schools, neighborhoods, and vacant lots in the
Cleveland, Ohio area. The collection provides details of children's clothing during the early 1900s, as well as views of neighborhoods
in Cleveland.

Scope and Content
The Home Gardening Association Photographs, 1900-1910, consist of mounted views of gardening activities in various schools,
neighborhoods, and vacant lots in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The collection provides details of children's clothing during
the early 1900s, as well as views of neighborhoods in Cleveland. Collection consists of 33 black and white photographs that
