Abstract:
 The Student Newspapers Collection includes newspapers produced by students at each campus. On the Metropolitan campus, students produced the Commuter (1963-1976), the Black Liberator (1970), the Muntu Drum (1975-1976), and the Mosaic (1981-1998). On the Western campus, students produced the West Word (1966-1968), the Pulse (1968-1977), and the Spectrum (1978-1999). The Highpoint was produced at the Eastern campus from 1973-1993. In 1999, the individual campus newspapers were combined into one college-wide publication, the Voice, which includes work from students at each of the college's campuses. The collection does not include complete runs of each of these newspapers.
