Biography of Harry H. Darrow

Harry H. Darrow (1863-1944) was a farmer in Darrowville, Ohio, a small farming town once located between Hudson and Stow. Darrow was born to Marcus (aka David) Mark Darrow (1833-1878) and Sabrina O'Brien Darrow (1839-1909). He married to Eleanor John in 1918. Darrow is listed as a "coal and fertilizer dealer and farm manager" in the 1920 U.S. Federal Census.

Scope and Content

The collection includes six diaries belonging to Harry H. Darrow. Each diary contains one year of short, daily (usually) entries about Darrow's activities. Some diaries include listings of cash accounts and memoranda.
