The Faculty Committee on Vietnam (FCV) was called so because its members were faculty at Ohio University (OU). The FCV was not affiliated with OU. The head representative and possible creator of the FCV was Giovanni Previtali from the Department of Modern Languages. The FCV created a questionnaire to ascertain the OU faculty's knowledge about the Vietnam War as of 1968.
The Faculty Committee on Vietnam records span from 1967 to 1968 and document the activities of this activist organization of faculty from Ohio University. The collection includes correspondence, a statement on United States policy, and completed questionnaires.
