Series 1. General contains magazine and newspaper clippings about Vernon R. Alden (VRA) including the 1965 LIFE Magazine; biographies about VRA; a scrapbook of newspaper clippings; transcripts from a 1981 interview; reprints of articles by VRA; a memorial booklet about Marion Alden; a copy of the printed program for the 1969 Vernon and Marion Alden Day dinner; photographs; and compact discs of memories dedicated by VRA to his wife.
