History of the Black Faculty, Administrators and Staff Caucus

The Black Faculty, Administrators and Staff Caucus was organized in 1973. Its purpose was to "serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas" and to "articulate the goals and desires of the Black community to the campus and surrounding community."

Scope and Content

The Black Faculty, Administrators and Staff Caucus (BFASC) records span from 1973 to 1981 and document the activities of the BFASC. The collection includes the BFASC constitution and by-laws, correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, membership rosters, position papers, newspaper clippings, reports, and newsletters.
