Carol Ann Lemley Huffman (1925-2012) from Galion, Ohio, attended The Ohio State University School of Nursing, graduated in 1947 and earned her state nurses board certificate in January 1948. Her first nursing position was at Starling-Loving Hospital. Her contract began in December 1947 in the Department of Nursing Care. A second employment contract with Starling-Loving was from July 1947 through June 1948 in the Delivery Room. Her pay included laundering her nurses’ uniforms. She later lived in Lakewood, Ohio.

The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised reading room.
