Abstract:
Leonard Sr., Leonard Jr., and William Case were prominent Cleveland, Ohio, philanthropists and railroad magnates in the 1800s. Leonard Sr was also an early settler of the area and William served as Mayor from 1850-1852. The collection consists of financial materials, receipts for the Heard and Son construction of the Case block, land agreements, files on the Ohio State Fair and Silas S. Stone, and miscellaneous materials found in the Case School accession.
