Before your institution may use the EAD Application (encoding tool) and submit finding aids to the OhioLINK Repository, you must register as a contributor.*
*Please note: Each contributing institution must specify an administrator/contact person who will then request and manage individual user accounts for his or her institution.
Registration also requires an Library of Congress MARC Institution Code. Many institutions already have this code. To check to see if your institution has a code, please see the MARC Codes database. If your institution does not have a code you may request a code be created.
Over 50 institutions in Ohio are registered participants in the EAD FACTORy. These include public, school, and academic libraries, historical societies, museums, and special libraries. For a current list of participating institutions, please send a request to the contact listed below.
